Rows within each column give you voicing variants: triad, seventh, ninth, sus, and more.
Every chord is pre-voiced by a voice-leading engine that minimises large leaps between chords.
Change key at any time and every pad recalculates instantly without rebuilding the preset.
Layer Octave Registers on Every Pad
Each pad is divided into octave slices so you choose the register you want.
Hold multiple slices on the same pad at once to layer octave registers simultaneously.
Each held slice gets a distinct highlight so you can see exactly which registers are active.
Octave selection is encoded in MIDI velocity on the pad trigger output for external routing.
Animate Chords with Repeat, Arp, and Strum
Repeat retriggers your held chord at a tempo-synced rate for rhythmic pumping and stutter effects.
Arp sequences through the chord notes one at a time for arpeggio patterns at any speed.
Strum cascades the chord notes bottom to top in a single one-shot sweep.
Adjust rate, intensity, swing, and gate bias per effect from the motion fader row.
Two MIDI Outputs for Flexible Routing
HouseBud Out sends the actual voiced chord notes to any synth, instrument, or DAW track.
HouseBud Pad Out sends pad index and octave as a separate trigger stream for drums, sequencers, or effects.
