BreakBud supports pad input, voice input, pad output, and sequencer output.
Use MIDI to switch pads, trigger voices directly, or send note data to other gear and apps.
It works with virtual MIDI, USB MIDI hardware, and Bluetooth MIDI.
In AUv3 mode, MIDI output is passed through the plugin when the host supports it.
Use It Standalone or in a Compatible AUv3 Host
BreakBud works as a standalone app or as an AUv3 instrument plugin.
AUv3 plugin use requires a compatible host app such as AUM, GarageBand, Cubasis, Loopy Pro, Audiobus, or another AUv3-capable host.
In plugin mode, BreakBud follows the host tempo and transport.
It provides 9 stereo output buses for separate routing and supports host automation.
