Auto Fills generates MIDI drum fills for your favorite drum synth apps. Easily create a drum kit that matches your drum synth app.
In Kit mode, you can adjust the probability of each part playing during the fill.
You also have the flexibility to adjust the density, rate, and the maximum number of voices that can play simultaneously.
In Note mode, you can assign the MIDI notes for the drum kit, and in Channel mode, you can control multiple apps by assigning the MIDI channels.
In Duration mode, you can set the duration of the drum fill in beats or bars.
You can also set waiting durations before and after the fill, allowing you to play your drum fill every once in a while.
You can switch on the option to randomize the drum fill with each cycle.
You can choose to block incoming MIDI messages to Auto Fills during the fill. When you route your regular drum sequencer to Auto Fills instead of the drum app, enabling the block option ensures that only the drum fill will pass to your drum app during the fill
In Velocity mode, you can adjust the velocity of each part in your kit individually and introduce velocity variety.
You can use Auto Fills with any drum app or hardware. However, you'll need to set up the kit, assign MIDI notes, and configure MIDI channels.
Alternatively, you can use the app and hardware templates to set up your kit quickly.
In the settings menu, navigate to the Kit Templates list, and choose a template for your app or hardware.
The templates are accessible as AU presets in the AUv3 plugin. Additionally, you have the option to save your custom kit as an AU preset in supported AUv3 host apps.
The Auto Fills app operates both as a standalone application and as an AUv3 MIDI Plugin.
Create AU presets and use AU parameters of the AUv3 plugin.
