SnakeBud is a 16-step sequencer with a 4x4 grid.
You can set each step's note, velocity, gate and probability.
You can toggle steps on/off for quickly create interesting sequences on the fly.
With the randomiser, you can randomise each mode, or all of them at once.
The 2-dimensional sequencer has offer lots of different sequenceing options.
Instead traditional left-to-right sequencing, you can sequence more interesting "snake patterns".
SnakeBud offers 56 different snake patterns with ability to randomise them.
Other than that, you can store your configurations in patterns and make them change with MIDI CC commands.
You may create as many patterns as you want. You can even copy/paste them between different AUv3 instances.
SnakeBud's music theory engine offers more than 110 scales.
You can also use your custom scales that you created in ScaleBud 2!
You can lock the sequencer notes in a scale and change the scale even when the sequencer is running.
The sequencer can run in very wide range from whole notes to 64th notes.
SnakeBud also offers dotted and triplet note options as well.
SnakeBud runs as standalone app as well as AUv3 MIDI Plugin.
You can create AU presets and use AU parameters of the AUv3 plugin.
SnakeBud offers more than 90 AU parameters where you can control or even automate every single parameter.
The standalone version of SnakeBud supports Ableton Link.
