PatternBud is a multitrack MIDI CC sequencer.
You can assign a MIDI CC number, MIDI Channel and a name to each track.
Tracks can have unlimited steps where a step represents a pattern.
PatternBud also have its own patterns which is great for creating multiple songs or a long performance.
PatternBud steps can have a duration of bars, beats, note values or seconds.
You can set each pattern's duration very specifically which is a unique feature.
Each step can have a MIDI CC value which is sent on the beginning of the step.
Steps can also have multiple, customisable actions.
Each step can have multiple actions which is great for creating randomised, generative sequences.
An action could be jumping to a specific or a random pattern - which could be used for pattern chaining.
An action could be jumpting to a specific or a random step of a track.
Also, you can set MIDI CC actions for additional custom triggers.
Actions are executed on the end of the step's progress.
PatternBud runs as standalone app as well as AUv3 MIDI Plugin.
You can create AU presets and use AU parameters of the AUv3 plugin.
PatternBud offers multiple AU parameters where you can control or even automate every single parameter.
The standalone version of PatternBud supports Ableton Link.
